• An applied economics background; track-record of delivery within the New Zealand public sector and possibly also in the corporate arena.
• Experience at Senior / Chief Economist level; leading projects/programmes and providing comprehensive advice.
• Strong connections and networks across the NZ public sector
• The ability to be client-facing, consult and advise in a leadership capacity to CE and Ministerial level.
• An innovative application of skills and methodologies to provide creative and sustainable solutions.
• Mentoring and capability development experience.
