We could not have recruited [Steve] without your help. I've been impressed by your services in the past, but this time, the benefits of using Johnson Group have been substantial. Even if [Steve] had applied directly to an advertisement placed by us (and he might not have), we'd have struggled to actually recruit him, because we wouldn't have provided sufficient time, care and reassurance in the selection stages. Our HR function is not resourced in that way, and as the hiring manager, I wouldn't have had/given the time to the more pastoral care elements of candidate selection.
