Like everyone else, I was tuned into the Beehive yesterday to listen to the PM’s Statement to Parliament. What I found most intriguing was the possibilities for new policies and programmes, particularly around the ‘growth-enhancing’ tax system and the commitment to science and innovation.

I'm anticipating further news on what this means in terms of a clear direction for the public sector, and look forward to clarification in the May Budget speech.

I'm also conscious that many agencies have outputs to be delivered by 30th June, the end of this financial year. We've seen a significant increase in enquiry from high quality candidates beginning to look at the market - the calibre of people you want to complete your work programmes.
