Scoop has published a media release from the Public Service Assocation which stresses the importance of continued investment in the public service, especially during times of economic hardship.

From Brenda Pilott, PSA National Secretary:

“We need to ensure we maintain our public services so that people who do lose their jobs are able to get the support they need to feed their families and to try and get back into the workforce. It’s vital we maintain the human infrastructure that public service workers provide because the country relies on this as much as our roads and the other physical infrastructure..."
