New public sector professionals making a difference

The theme of the 2010 IPANZ New Professionals conference is “Making a Difference”, and will address the things that new professionals can do to make a difference to themselves, their organisations and beyond.

The conference will provide a forum to discuss the look and feel of the New Zealand public sector now and in the future, and for new professionals to actively shape their own futures. The objective is to provide a sense of unity, belonging and excitement amongst new professionals in the public sector. Conference speakers are a mix of high profile public sector leaders, and up-and-coming new professionals. Conference sessions will also be led by experts in leadership and professional development.

You can find out more about the conference on the IPANZ New Professionals website.

IPANZ New Professionals are people between the ages of 18 and 39 or who are early to mid-career working in or with the public sector, who want to meet new people and contribute to building the public sector of the future. Conference delegates will come from throughout New Zealand, the core Public Service, the wider State Sector, Local Government, and private sector.
