IPANZ New Professionals Presents the Meet the Chiefs Breakfast Series.
The IPANZ New Professionals Leadership Team are excited to launch the first “Meet the Chiefs” Breakfast Series. These breakfasts will provide new professionals in the Public Sector the opportunity to hear firsthand from chief executives of various Government Departments about their career paths, as well as some of the highlights and the challenges they face as chief executives.
Discussion between the chief executives and new professionals will provide a chance for questions and answers, in a unique up-close and personal setting.
The series kicks off in May with our first breakfast with guest speakers
Iain Rennie, State Services Commissioner, State Services Commission
and
Peter Hughes, Chief Executive, Ministry of Social Development
This breakfast is an opportunity for you to meet two of New Zealand's leading public servants - Iain and Peter will speak about their time in the public sector, where they began, their rise through the ranks and where they see the public service heading in the future. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and engage in group discussion after the Chief Executives make their presentations.
